Ontario One Call celebrates grand opening in Northern Ontario

From 2014 to 2016, there were 812 reported hits to utilities due to excavation in Northern Ontario.

Today, Ontario One Call held a grand opening of its northern office in Sudbury located beside Diggs & Dwellings on The Kingsway. 

The Sudbury branch created 30 new full-time jobs, consisting mostly of Contact Centre Agents, who process locate requests for anyone that is digging in Ontario. 

"Building this office was a dream a year ago, we knew we had to build something in Northern Ontario," Ontario One Call executive director Ben Hamilton said. 

"We chose Sudbury because it had the right mix of people, the right mix of skills and was a growing and interesting community to establish a business."
