With Christmas fast approaching, Comics North is calling on comic book fans to assemble and help the Sudbury Food Bank.

The Elm Street business’s seventh annual food drive kicked off this week and in exchange for a donation, you get a chance to win some pretty cool prizes.

“We would love to show the Sudbury Food Bank how amazing our community is,” Comics North told Sudbury.com.

For every food donation brought in to Comics North (located at 106 Elm St.) until Dec 18th will get you entered in to win, with one chance to win for every item donated.

“Bring in five items, get five chances; bring in 10 items, get 10 chances to win; bring in 20 … well, you get the picture,” Comics North said.

It gets better, too. If you head to Comics North’s Facebook page or Instagram page, and like and share their food drive post, you’ll get an extra entry.

Winning tickets will be posted on Facebook and Instagram following the close of the drive on Dec. 18.

“We understand times are tough with the rising costs of everything, so anything you can donate will go a long way! The only thing we ask is to please check for expired food items. Thank you for your support.”

Comic North is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.
