Cambrian College’s First Generation (FGEN) Advising program is inviting high school students, as well as Cambrian students, faculty, staff, and alumni to rally together with their families and friends for Cambrian Night with the Sudbury Wolves on March 17 at 7 p.m. at the Sudbury Arena.

This year’s event will benefit the community’s less fortunate by boosting donations to Camrbian's Student Food Bank, the Samaritan Centre, and the Share a Book campaign.

Tickets are available at the FGEN office (room 2120) at Cambrian College for $5 or for a donation of two new or gently used children’s books. Cash proceeds from the ticket sales at the FGEN office will be donated to the Student Food Bank. The books will be distributed to community food bank locations through the Share a Book campaign.

The first 500 attendees will receive a Cambrian College toque.

The first 1,000 guests will receive a pair of socks to toss into a 50th-anniversary edition 2017 Chevrolet Camaro convertible that will be making the rounds on the ice during the second-period intermission. The first attendee whose socks land in the car will win a GoPro video camera. All of the socks will be donated to the Samaritan Centre.

Raffle tickets to enter a draw to win the Camaro convertible will also be available for purchase at the event.
