The former Cambrian College residence on Regent Street has sold for $300,000 to a group of local business people.
The residence was built in 1971. It has been appraised at $400,000 and was on the market for four years. The college will continue to rent the residence floors until a new residence at the college is completed. The project, expected to cost $3.5 million (including interior furniture) will have 100 beds. Each unit will have rooms for two students and shared living space.
