The city is advising Capreol residents to conserve water for 24-hours starting Jan. 12 at 9 am while city crews install new watermains for improved and more consistent water clarity.
During this time, residents may experience low water pressure and discolouration and are asked to defer non-essential activities that require large amounts of water, such as laundry, until Friday.
Any prolonged water discolouration or low water pressure can be reported to the city's public works 24-hour emergency line at 560-2022.
