In recognition of Apollo 11’s historic mission to the moon in 1969, Science North is hosting a celebration and guest speaker on Saturday, July 20.
The guest speaker will be Shawna Pandya, a citizen-scientist astronaut candidate, to look ahead at humanity's achievements, challenges and conquests in space, medicine, technology, conflict and society.
There will be two presentations, the first at 1 p.m. and the second at 3 p.m. in the Vale Cavern. The presentations are included in general admission to the science centre.
