Celebrate Women is being held Wednesday, April 3, at the Fraser Auditorium at Laurentian University at 7:30 pm.
This unique event is a fundraising effort of the Canadian Federation of University Women, the Sudbury YWCA, and Sudbury Legal Education Action Fund.
This year the event will feature author Susan Coyne, who will discuss her experiences as a novelist and an actress.
Coyne has just released Kingfisher Days. She has appeared in leading roles in theatres across the country, and is a founding member of, and frequent performer at, the Soulpepper Theatre Company in Toronto.
Tickets for the event are $10, with proceeds going towards the three participating groups and their very important work for women's issues. Tickets are available at Chapters and Pit's House of Treasures.
