Three cadet corps in Greater Sudbury were part of a change of command ceremony at the Sudbury Armoury on Sept. 12.
The ceremony was presided over by Col. John Valtonen, Commander of 33 Canadian Brigade Group.
Changes of command were as follows:
- Lt(N) Vickie Boucher, CD to Lt(N) Elisabeth Holmes, CD for 134 Sea Cadets
- Captain Tammy Valtonen, CD1 to Captain Jeffrey Moore, for 2912 Army Cadets
- Major Daniel Brisson, CD to Captain Royal O’Neil, for 2915 Army Cadets
The ceremony included the signing of the change of command certificates and presentations symbolizing the passage of command from one leader to another.
