An emergency water service repair has closed the Chelmsford Water Pollution Control Plant to Recreational Vehicle (RV) wastewater dumping until further notice.
Alternate RV wastewater dumping sites are available at the Valley East Wastewater Treatment Plant (9999 Yorkshire Drive,Val Caron) and the Sudbury Wastewater Treatment Plant, (1271 Kelly Lake Rd.)
The Sudbury Wastewater Treatment Plant is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Valley East Wastewater Treatment Plant is open Sundays from Noon to 7:30 p.m., Mondays to Thursdays from 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Closed Saturdays and statutory holidays.
