Updated: Two individuals taken to hospital following Chelmsford Collision

Accident occurred Saturday on the corner of Elizabeth Street and Regional Road 35

Greater Sudbury Police have confirmed that there were two vehicles, a car and pickup truck, involved in Saturday's collision on Regional Road 35. 

As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and passenger of the pickup truck, have been taken to hospital with undetermined but believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police were informed of the collision around 11:50 a.m. and were able to have the area cleared for traffic by 12:50 p.m. that afternoon. 

While Police have yet to determine the cause of the accident, Sgt. Ryan Johnson would like to remind motorists to "exercise enhanced road safety on this Black Friday shopping weekend."

The two vehicles involved in a collision Saturday afternoon in Chelmsford have been cleared from Regional Road 35.

A two-vehicle collision at the corner of Regional Road 35 and Elizabeth Street is causing delays in the southbound lane of the highway in the direction of Downtown Sudbury.

Fire, EMS and police are on-scene.
