In case you saw emergency vehicles heading toward Copper Cliff this afternoon (Dec. 11), there's been a fire at a single family home on Diorite Street in the Little Italy section of the community.
Platoon Chief George Lalonde said the blaze involved a car fire that spread to the home.
The City of Greater Sudbury's Paramedics tweeted just before 3 p.m. that all occupants are safe.
“We're still trying to determine exactly what happened,” Lalonde said shortly after 3 p.m., adding that firefighters were still on scene. “We're doing some primary and secondary searches through the building to make sure everybody is out and OK.”
