The annual Cops for Christmas Food Bank Drive event takes place at Vrab’s Independent Grocer at the Four Corners this Saturday, Dec. 10.
OPP and GSPS members will be collecting non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the Sudbury Food Bank while bagging groceries for customers between the hours 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Last year, officers were able to raise $4,625.15 in monetary donations and 1,208 pounds of non-perishable food donations.
“The OPP and GSPS, along with Vrab’s Independent Grocer, are asking the public to attend and to continue their generous support and contributions to make this a successful event!” a press release said.
