Ward 9 Greater Sudbury city council candidate Paul Stopciati stresses the importance of respecting taxpayers in a news release.

The new mayor and council must work together in a “professional” way “to ensure all decisions are clearly and effectively thought out” with the taxpayers' interests in mind, he said.

“More than ever before the interests of the taxpayers of Greater Sudbury must be the reason for all decisions by the new council,” he said.

“I am determined, if elected as Ward 9 councillor, to ensure that teamwork and respect for the taxpayers of Ward 9 and the City of Greater Sudbury are always enshrined in good policy making decisions.

“Planning and concrete decision making will be key for the next four years as together we grow Ward 9.”

Greater Sudbury Must Regroup and Start Showing Progress Now

This city as a whole needs and want change. This is the most important election in the history of our City with millions of dollars of tax payers dollars waiting to be spent.

It is very clear that changes must be made to make City Hall accountable. Listening to people from Ward 9 and residents of Greater Sudbury our Roads, Community Safety, Environment and Elderly are key factors that must be addressed.

The Mayor and the new council must work together in a professional and business way to ensure all decisions are clearly and effectively thought out with the taxpayer’s interests as the basis for this decision making. More than ever before the interests of the taxpayers of Greater Sudbury must be the reason for all decisions by the new Council.

I am determined, if elected as Ward 9 Councillor, to ensure that teamwork and respect for the taxpayers of Ward 9 and the City of Greater Sudbury is always enshrined in good policy making decisions.

Planning and concrete decision making will be key for the next 4 years as together we grow Ward 9.
