Day two of Tom Fortin v. The City of Greater Sudbury is scheduled for Tuesday June 30.

Day one heard from Fortin's lawyer, Gordon Petch, who spent the better part of four hours making his case for Justice Gregory Ellies to quash a zoning bylaw that allowed the Kingsway Entertainment District to be approved by council in 2017.

Petch stated that transcripts from the June 27 council meeting indicated that council had made its final decision on the location of the event centre, casino and arena.

Tuesday's hearing was scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m. and can be viewed here.
