Science North holds its annual fundraising event, The Bluecoat Ball, in-person for the first time since 2019 on Feb. 25.

Members of the community are invited to an evening of inspiration and entertainment that will help raise funds to establish the Science for All Fund at Science North.

This innovative fund will provide financial support to increase the number of individuals, groups, schools, and communities who can access Science North facilities and experiences.

Science for All ensures programs related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) are attainable to anyone living in Sudbury and across Northern Ontario.

This year’s Bluecoat Ball is inspired by Science North’s upcoming special exhibition: Dinosaur Discoveries. Visiting a land lost to time, guests will rediscover these life-sized dinos as they come to life.

The Bluecoat Ball is a delightful experience curated to glitz, glamour and armour all while making an impactful difference in the community, said a press release.

Guests are invited to purchase a Bluecoat Ball ticket to this one-of-a-kind experience where they will get a first look at Dinosaur Discoveries as they sip and marvel in the splendour of these magnificent creatures.

The Bluecoat Ball experience includes:

  • A multi-course dinner accompanied by drinks
  • VIP access to the Dinosaur Discoveries special exhibition
  • Silent and live auction experiences
  • Up-close science experiences
  • Live entertainment and dancing

Science North invites the community to help celebrate and create a difference that brings opportunity and access to all of Northern Ontario with the Science for All Fund.

Tickets cost $250 each or $2,000 for a table of eight. You can purchase your ticket or make a donation at bluecoatball.ca.
