Four groups of musicians from École Jean-Paul II in Val Caron participated in the annual Kiwanis Festival on April 4.
Some 100 grade 1 to 6 students practiced for many weeks the songs they would play on the recorder at this annual musical event.
The students presented various songs composed by the school’s music teacher, Sylvain Prévost.
“The school is pleased that the festival was able to recruit a French speaking judge who was able to offer feedback to students following their participation,” a press release said.
“The students' presentation and participation at the Kiwanis Festival is an important of École Jean-Paul II’s quality music program."
