EcoLife Home Improvements owner Dave Murray made a brief court appearance on Nov. 13 to have 23 fraud charges from May spoken to.
The embattled contractor was hit with 22 new fraud charges - 14 counts of fraud over $5,000 and eight counts of fraud under $5,000 - on Oct. 31.
With the charges levied against Murray on Oct. 31, plus the 23 fraud charges laid against him in May, he now faces 45 counts of fraud, with 34 counts of fraud over $5,000 and 11 counts of fraud under $5,000.
Murray has been granted a legal aid certificate and will have until Dec. 11 to retain counsel.
He is scheduled to make his first appearance in court on Dec. 11 for the second set of fraud charges, and his first set of fraud charges were adjourned to the same date in order to join them with the newer charges.
