Sudbury.com is recognizing Chris Matheson as today's Essential Worker of the Day.
Matheson was nominated by his girlfriend Erin Tremblay.
"Chris works for Day Group as curb side collection and has worked through quarantine, increased bag limits, closed landfills, long landfill line ups and everyone working from home creating increased waste and recycling," Tremblay wrote.
"I’m so proud of him and all of the work he’s done throughout this difficult time."
