Sudbury.com is recognizing Charlene LaBelle as today's Essential Worker of the Day.

LaBelle is a personal support worker at Health Sciences North (HSN).

Sonny Tolkacz wants LaBelle to know "how proud I am to say that she's my sister."

"She is 32 and a mother of five beautiful kids." Tolkacz said.

"She is the most driven and determined person I've ever known...and to me she is a real life superhero."

"Charlene has the position of working in the medical, oncology and palliative units. She is so loving and caring."

"She is made of pure gold! Love you Char!"
