Virtual show from the Parkside Centre

Porketta Bingo
September 19

Sudbury Performance Group is once again starting porketta bingo on Saturdays at the New Trevi Restaurant. Starting Sept. 19 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Trevi Bar & Grill, located at 1837 Lasalle Blvd. The event is limited to 50 players. Tickets are $30. Patrons will be required to wear masks while moving in and out of the restaurant, or whenever they are out of their seat.


Cinéfest Sudbury
September 19 to 27

Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival has decided to go with a “hybrid” festival this year, with a mix of in-person and virtual screenings. Visit cinefest.com for more information.


NLFB drive-in concert
September 19

Sudbury's first ever drive-in concert is happening this weekend featuring Canadian icon Serena Ryder, Hawksley Workman, The Julian Taylor Band and Martine Fortin and Maxwell José.

The concert will be held at the New Sudbury Centre parking lot, located at 1349 Lasalle Blvd., with door opening around 6 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $30 in advance and $40 at the gate. Visit nlfb.ca for more information.

Mountain bike group rides
September 20

Organized by the Walden Mountain Bike Club. Weekly ride location will be posted before the event.

38th annual Rotary Easter Seals Telethon
September 20

Easter Seals Ontario will broadcast its annual Telethon on Eastlink Community TV channel 10/HD 610. Airing from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 20. Funds raised will be used to purchase urgently needed accessibility and mobility equipment for children and youth with physical disabilities. For more information visit EasterSeals.org.
