The City of Greater Sudbury will be draining the Falconbridge water tank Thursday, Oct. 17 and Friday, Oct.18 to perform maintenance tests.
Residents shouldn’t notice a change in service but may notice some water discolouration. The tank will resume service this weekend and then will be taken offline Monday, Oct. 21 to Thursday, Nov. 7.
Should residents notice discoloured water, run the cold water tap closest to the water meter for several minutes until water is clear of any sediment from water pipes.
