CP24 is reporting that a missing Markham man may be in Northern Ontario.

According to today's report, 38-year-old Eugene Kim was last seen at around 7 a.m. in Markham by his family.

He hasn't been seen since.

Late Tuesday afternoon, Kim's brother, Sean, told CP24 the missing man called his way. Police managed to trace that call to a cell tower in the North Bay area.

According to the report, Sean told CP24 Kim had paid for a permit to enter nearby Algonquin Park sometime after making that call. Sean said park staff reported Kim was with someone when he paid for the permit, but the family does not know who that person might be.

Kim's family journeyed to Algonquin Park today to search for him, the report states.

Kim is married with two children, a boy, six, and a girl, two.

He is described as a Korean male, standing 5-9 and weighing 185 pounds, with black hair. Kim wears eyeglasses.

He is believed to be driving a black 2010 Nissan Rogue SUV, with the license plate BJJD 108.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7241.
