École catholique Félix-Ricard recently presented a donation of $710.36 to the NEO Kids Foundation.
As part of their religion class, a group of Grade 8 students displayed their leadership skills by holding a sale of heart-o-grams as a fundraising activity to help the NEO Kids Foundation.
“We chose this foundation to support children who may not be living an easy life,” said the group of students. “We hope that one day, they will be able to play sports and participate in activities without having to worry about their health.”
Starting in kindergarten, École catholique Félix-Ricard students develop their leadership skills.
The school board thanked Grade 8 students Ema MacAulay, Maya Najem, Emma Champagne, Marielle Kitsos, Bianca D’Aoust, Nolan Larche and Liam Speck for investing a great deal of energy to ensure the success of this initiative.
