Fierté Pride BBQ kicks off tomorrow

All are invited to attend and show support for LGBT2SQ Youth

The GSPS, Children’s Aid Society of the Districts of Sudbury & Manitoulin, the Child and Family Centre, and the GSPS Chief’s Youth Advisory Council will partner to host a charity BBQ for youth in support of Fierté Pride Sudbury July 20.

The BBQ will get underway at 11 a.m. and run until 2 p.m. on Evergreen Lane located behind the Child and Family Centre, 62 Frood Road.

Food will be available for purchase from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Service agencies, businesses and citizens are encouraged to come out and show their support. The public is asked to make a minimum donation of $5.

Artwork to inspire hope, well-being and confidence for LGBT2SQ Youth will be created by the youth who attend the BBQ.

This event seeks to demonstrate our commitment to building positive futures for all children, youth and families and to strive for ensuring inclusivity, safety and wellness particularly for LGBT2SQ Youth.
