A structure fire on Agnes Street in the Flour Mill caused approximately $100,000 in damage on May 22.

Greater Sudbury Fire Services responded to a call of a fire at a duplex on Agnes Street at around 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22. 

When firefighters arrived, the flames were through the roof, but were quickly brought under control. The cause of the fire may have been an electrical fault. 

One firefighter suffered a minor injury at the call. Fire damage to the building was moderate, though there was severe smoke damage.

A total of four fire stations responded to the blaze, with six fire vehicles and 21 firefighters attending the scene.

One person was displaced from their home, but there were no civilian injuries as a result of the fire.
