When the Azilda Lions Club kicked off its 28th Annual Family Jug Curling Tourney on April 22, it just happened to coincide with training days for Fired Up Pizza's newest franchisee.

Fired Up opened a takeout and delivery location at 93 Notre Dame St. West in the Azilda Plaza.

To coincide with Fired Up's opening, the pizza makers accepted donations for every order placed, and wound up bringing in $1050 for the Lions Club.

“Being able to contribute to such an amazing organization like the Azilda Lions Club where I know they’ll put that money to good use gives us purpose and reinforces our commitment to Rayside-Balfour as a proud sponsor of local initiatives supported by locally owned small business,” said MJ Pappin-Lamoureux, the owner/operator of Fired Up Pizza, Rayside-Balfour.
