Lots of local talent will take the stage at Little Montreal on Oct. 15 for the first ever Rock for Dimes Fundraiser.

Local bands include Acoustic Aggressive, Kim Schmidt, Wolves in Red, Bluez Brothers, Vanilla Gorilla and Backroads, who will all play a concert to support March of Dimes Canada's Moving A-Head Campaign.

The concert kicks off Saturday Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. at Little Montreal Bar and Deli (182 Elgin St.).

Tickets are $10 in advance at the following locations: Long & McQuade, Jett Landry, Cosmic Dave’s, Little Montreal and Business as Usual.

You can also purchase tickets at the door the day of the concert for $15.

Rock for Dimes Sudbury’s goal this year is to raise $5,000. The Moving A-Head Campaign is trying to raise $1 million locally to build a second home for persons with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

March of Dimes Canada is 65 years old this year and provides services to more than 60,000 Canadians.
