Kicking off our 12 Days of Kindness:

Sudbury.com is proud to introduce 12 Days of Kindness. Check back to Sudbury.com every weekday morning until Dec. 23 and start your day with a smile and a little kindness as the Christmas season gets into full swing. For the next 12 weekdays we're surprising 12 worthy people with a little kindness just in time for the holidays. Our first video will be online this morning so be sure to check back for it.

Wolves and Canadiens alumni square off this evening:

It's sure to be an enjoyable walk down memory lane for long time fans of junior and NHL hockey in Sudbury this Thursday, as members of the Montreal Canadiens Alumni team are in town to take on the Sudbury Wolves Alumni. The game goes tonight at 7 p.m. at the Sudbury Arena. Make sure to check back with Sudbury.com for photos from the game.

Public meeting tonight for the Ramsey Lake watershed study:

After years of waiting, Greater Sudbury is moving ahead with a study of water quality in Ramsey Lake, the first of nine subwatershed studies being funded by the provincial government. A public meeting is scheduled for Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Northern Water Sports Centre, 206 Ramsey Lake Rd. 

Students shop with the cops today:

A total of 24 students, six from each of the four local school boards, will participate in today's 'Shop with a Cop' event. This marks the ninth year for the event. Festivities will kick off at 9:30 a.m. with a breakfast at P&M's Kouzzina, followed by a morning of shopping at the Walmart at the New Sudbury Centre. Sudbury.com will have a story and photos from this event later this morning so be sure to check back.
