Updated April 23 at 1:58 p.m.: @511Ontario, the official Twitter account of the Ministry of Transportation, advises that Highway 537 remains closed at Jumbo Creek due to flooding.

This should be the last year for flooding. The province announced a few weeks ago that the culvert would be repaired this summer.

A notice went up last week advising the highway was impassible. Highway 537 connects Highway 17 to Highway 69. The highway is closed in both direction.

Highway 537 in Wanup is closed as of Thursday afternoon, says the Ministry of Transportation's road closure twitter page.

“All lanes in both directions are closed due to flooding,” a tweet from 511ONNortheastern said.

And Highway 17 remains reduced to one westbound lane in the Lively area for environmental clean up, the site said.

No word yet on when either roadway will return to full capacity.
