Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Greater Sudbury and vicinity as of 3:43 p.m.
"Areas of fog will continue to affect parts Northeastern Ontario tonight and into Sunday morning," said the advisory on Environment Canada's website. "It is expected to be locally dense with near zero visibility in some areas. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance."
Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.
