For the second time this week, Greater Sudbury is under a special weather advisory for rain.
Heavier rain is expected to move into the area early this morning and continue into Friday morning, said the advisory, issued early Thursday by Environment Canada. Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres with locally higher amounts are expected.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
