Health Sciences North is hosting a free public forum March 5 on designing a senior-friendly community.
The event takes place starting at 6 p.m. at Science North's Vale Cavern.
Topics to be discussed at the forum include trends for senior-friendly housing and architecture, urban planning, leisure and recreation trends and social services.
Guest speakers include Kris Longston, a senior planner with the City of Greater Sudbury, Terrance Galvin, the director of the Laurentian University School of Architecture and Esmonde Crawley, the international editor of Over 50s Housing Weekly News.
