Updated: Roadway now clear after four-vehicle collision near Copper Cliff early this morning

Police advise people to slow down due to slippery conditions

The roadway is now clear after the collision, Greater Sudbury Police said in a tweet at 10:10 a.m. Monday.

"Motorists are reminded to slow down and adjust their driving to road & weather conditions," police added. 

"The snow/rain yesterday & the below freezing temperature overnight have lead to slippery roadways."

There has been a four-vehicle collision on Municipal Road 55, on the bridge heading toward Copper Cliff from Lively, said a tweet from Greater Sudbury Police at 8:50 a.m. Monday.

The extent of injuries is unknown.

Motorists will experience delays in the area. Police ask people to slow down and drive with caution.
