A leading Franco-Ontarian group exacted their revenge on city hall Tuesday when, in a symbolic act of protest, they opted to fly the Franco-Ontarian flag over the Centre de santé communautaire de Sudbury to mark St. Jean Baptiste Day.
A leading Franco-Ontarian group exacted their revenge on city hall Tuesday when, in a symbolic act of protest, they opted to fly the Franco-Ontarian flag over the Centre de santé communautaire de Sudbury to mark St. Jean Baptiste Day.

Normally, the francophone flag is flown at Tom Davies Square to commemorate the the June 24th French Canadian cultural event.

In April, city councillors voted 7-5 against permanently flying the Franco-Ontarian flag outside city hall.
