A freezing rain warning has been issued for Sudbury and surrounding area. Freezing rain and ice pellets will continue across Northeastern Ontario. The precipitation is expected to change to rain or possibly snow later this evening.

Freezing rain and ice pellets will continue across Northeastern Ontario. The precipitation is expected to change to rain or possibly snow later this evening.

Motorists are encouraged to drive carefully as untreated roads could be slippery in freezing rain.

Saturday

Periods of snow ending in the morning then clearing. Wind northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming light late in the afternoon with a high 3 C.

Sunday
A mix of sun and cloud, 40 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers. Low of -6 C and high of 7 C.

Monday
Cloudy with a chance of rain showers or flurries. Low of 1 C and a high of 10 C.
