The local French public school board and the union representing its supply teachers have reached a three-year tentative deal.
Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l’Ontario and the Association des enseignantes et enseignants Franco-ontariens – suppléants du Nord-Ouest publique reached the tentative deal, which is retroactive to Sept. 1, 2019.
“The board is extremely pleased with the proposed agreement that benefits the supply teaching staff of CSPGNO,” said Anne-Marie Gélineault, vice-chair of CSPGNO.
“By working hand in hand with our supply teachers, we are able to continue offering our students top- quality education in a stimulating and dynamic learning environment.”
The tentative agreement is expected to be ratified before Dec. 16.
