Snowmobilers get ready to rumble and rev up your engines and join the best ride of the winter while helping a most worthy cause this Saturday.

The annual Snowarama for Easter Seal Kids begins and ends at Owl's Nest Lodge on Trout Lake on the beautiful French River.

Participants will enjoy an exhilarating day riding along picteresque, groomed trails in support of local kids with physical disabilities.

Riders have the option of sledding on a guided run or on their own. Registration takes place from 9 am to 3 pm with the guided run departing at 10 am. Gas vouchers will be awarded to riders bringing in pledges.

Â?This traditional event gives the snowmobiling community a great opportunity to give back while doing what they love,Â? says Fern Labelle, Snowarama chair, in a press release.

Â?Though Snowarama's have taken place across the province since 1975, this is the first one in the French River area, which we are all really excited about.Â?

More than 250 local children from across the City of Greater Sudbury with physical disabilities will benefit from this huge fundraiser.

For more information and pledge forms contact the Sudbury Easter Seal Society at 566-8858 or French River Snow Devils at 898-2298.
