Fun had by all at Franco Fest

Funds to support ALS and school activities

École secondaire catholique l’Horizon hosted a Festival Franco day on June 16 to raise funds for ALS and the school's cultural and sports activities.

The event also marked the celebration of St-Jean Baptiste Day, which takes place June 24.

Grade 7 and 8 students from École Notre-Dame, École Ste-Thérèse and École Jean-Paul II were also invited to take part in the festivities, including giant inflatable games, face painting and hairdo sessions and musical entertainment.

Students are also hosting a spaghetti supper from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at École secondaire catholique l’Horizon, located at 1650 Valleyview in Val Caron. Admission fee for the dinner is $7 for adults and $5 for students.
