Gas prices down slightly in Sudbury after spike earlier this week

Most stations at 108.6, but some Chelmsford gas bars were charging 104.5 yesterday

Gas prices are down slightly in Greater Sudbury after a large spike earlier this week.

While prices are really a mixed bag today, most stations are charging 108.6, according to GasBuddy.com.

The cheapest gas in the city is in Chelmsford, at the community's Mac's, Esso and Petro-Canada stations, which were all charging 104.5 yesterday.

The most expensive gas in the city is 109.9 at Esso on The Kingsway and Esso in Wahnapitae (these prices were reported nearly a full day ago, and could have since changed).

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas ranges in price from 97.7 to 99.9.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 103.3. The cheapest gas in the province is 88.6 in St. Catharines. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 128.5 in Chapleau.
