Gas prices drop by a cent overnight

Gas prices in Greater Sudbury dropped by about a cent overnight.

The lowest price in the city this morning is 107.9 at the Pioneer station at Falconbridge and Churchill. 

There isn’t much variance between stations closer to the city core and those in outlying areas, which tend to have slightly lower prices.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 100, while the national average is 103.
