It's a sure bet that anyone who travels to Gateway Casinos in Chelmsford today will be in for a treat.
That's because Gateway is hosting a customer celebration day, with plenty of surprises and prizes in store, said general manager Derek Tierney.
“We're celebrating the new adventure of Gateway being in Sudbury,” Tierney said. “Today is all about the customer.”
On May 30, Gateway took over day-to-day operations from OLG at three locations in Northern Ontario — Greater Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Sault Ste. Marie.
“Things are going excellent,” Tierney said. “The transition was a long process, but we're happy to be here celebrating with our customers and our employees.”
Cake, free t-shirts and other treats are available until 5 p.m. Live entertainment by Junior Williams happens from 8-11 p.m.
