Sudbury?s Giant Tiger Store is planning a 11,000 square foot expansion of the store at 2208 Lasalle Blvd. It will takeover space occupied by Bingo Country.
?We are all very excited about expanding our store? said Bob McQuirter, Giant Tiger franchise owner. ?We will soon be able to offer our customers an
expanded fashion clothing selection, a larger and more complete grocery section and a much better selection of seasonal merchandise,? he said.
The newly expanded store will have a new entrance, wider aisles and more room to shop, more fitting rooms and lots of free parking.
Giant Tiger was established in 1961 in Ottawa?s Byward Market and grown into a network of 159 locations employing more than 6,000 Canadians. There are Giant Tiger stores nearby in Espanola and Sturgeon Falls.
