There is a call for volunteers with the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee to show up at 10 am this Saturday (May 4) to ?spruce up the waters.?

According to c-oordinator, Carrie Regenstreif , ?we will be cleaning up a section of Junction Creek at Hnatyshyn Park next to the Ukranian Senior?s Centre at Elm and Notre Dame, across from the City Centre mall.?

Volunteers who work until 1 pm will be rewarded with free pizza courtesy of Topper?s and drinks courtesy of Crawford?s Food Basics

For the adventuresome, chest waders are available.

Those who prefer shoreline work will be provided with garbage bags, gloves and rubber boots. Call 695-2902 or visit junctioncreek.isys.ca.
