The Northern Cancer Foundation's fourth annual Cancer Centre Walk/Run/Bike for Hope takes place at Kivi Park May 27.

It's the third of six events in MOVE – The Kivi Park Fitness Series. The walk's launch event was held May 7.

“It’s always great to have the opportunity to get out of the office to visit Kivi Park and we’re so excited to once again host the Cancer Centre Walk/Run/Bike here,” said Tannys Laughren, executive director of the Northern Cancer Foundation, in a press release.

“It’s a great opportunity for families to get out and get active while raising some funds for the Northeast Cancer Centre.

The beautiful trails at Kivi Park will serve as the backdrop for the Cancer Centre Walk/Run/Bike for Hope where participants can run, walk or bike 1 km, 3k m, 5 km or 10 km trails.

Registration is $35 and includes an event t-shirt and lunch. Kids under 12 can participate in the 1km courses free of charge. Participants are encouraged to collect pledges and any participant who raises $100 in pledges will have their registration fee waived.
