Greyhound Canada has made it easier for customers who want to bring a friend along with them on a journey.
Greyhound has reduced the advance purchase requirements on its companion fares from seven days to three days.
Students with valid ID also receive a 10 per cent discount on companion fares.
Since its inception in September, 2001, the Companion Rides Free program has been used by more than 100,000 customers. Greyhound Canada feels reducing the advance purchase requirements on companion fares provides a more cost-effective solution for customers making last-minute travel arrangements.
