The students of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) had the opportunity to participate in Medgames at Laval University in Quebec City from Jan. 13 to 15 thanks to Greyhound Canada, for donating a bus and to Guilles Tessier, a Greyhound bus driver who offered his time for the trip.

"It probably would have been impossible for us to attend if we hadn't received this generous donation from Greyhound and Mr. Tessier," said Alex Anawati, a NOSM student.

Every medical school in Canada is invited to participate in Medgames, and it is an opportunity for students to meet new people and to do some networking. NOSM students participated in sporting events such as basketball, ball hockey, badminton, and track. There were also social events in the evenings.

"It was a lot of fun," said Anawati.
