The curtain closed on Daryl Brunt?s Canadian Idol effort at the John Basset Theatre in Toronto yesterday as the 16-year-old Lively native was the fourth member of the top ten to be eliminated.
Brunt?s Tuesday night performance of Louie Armstrong?s It?s a Wonderful World didn?t impress the judges, or evidently the Canadian Idol audience either.
The show had a season high 3.1 million votes tallied while the performance episode Tuesday drew a television audience of 2.1 million.
Casey Leblanc, 17, of New Brunswick and Aaron Walpole, 26, from Ontario appeared along with Brunt in the bottom three but were spared and will make up the final competitors on stage next week performing classic rock tunes.
