Update:

Due to rain Saturday night New Sudbury Days has rescheduled a screening of the Hallmark Flower Shop Mystery film Mum's the Word to Sunday night at 8 p.m.

The film will be screened at Rotary Park, and will be followed by a fireworks display to conclude New Sudbury Days.

Original story:

New Sudbury Days will be showing the Hallmark Flower Shop Mystery film Mum's the Word staring Brooke Shields Aug. 28 during its free Sunday night outdoor film screening.

The movie was shot in North Bay last October and November, and was produced by Sudbury's Hideaway Pictures.

The film night is sponsored by the Northern Ontario Film Studio and Hideaway Pictures.

Mum's the Word follows Abby Knight (Brooke Shields), a former lawyer turned flower shop owner, who is starting over after the death of her husband with the support from her father (Beau Bridges), a new business and her daughter off to college. A car crash leads her to track down a murderer, and maybe even find love.
