Food Basics in Hanmer made Christmas a little merrier for Stephanie Chiasson.

Chiasson submitted a video back in the summer as part of the Have It All contest, which asked shoppers what they would do if they didn’t have to worry about purchasing groceries for a year. She said if she could Have it All, she would enrol her son in hockey and put some savings towards his education.

What Stephanie and her son, Shawn, got was four tickets to see the Sudbury Wolves, $500 in gift cards to Sport Check to pick out hockey gear, money for Shawn's hockey registration and $1,000 towards his RESP.

“(Food Basics) knows saving money on groceries means more freedom to reward yourself with the things you really want,” said a news release. “This Have it All lifestyle that Food Basics shoppers can obtain was the basis behind the wish fulfillment initiative that will see seven Ontarians’ wishes granted this holiday season. Rewarding these deserving local residents is just the beginning.”

Consumers can expect to continue to Have it All with Food Basics throughout 2017, said the news release.
