This bilingual, hard-covered book tells the fascinating story of Sudbury's regreening efforts through inspirational, award-winning text and exquisite photographs taken of the Sudbury landscape. The book illustrates a land destroyed by industrial pollution can be transformed into a Canadian environmental success story, inspiring communities around the world to improve their environment.
Healing the Landscape was created as a Millennium project for the City of Greater Sudbury. It was launched in March of 2001, and already more than 5,000 copies have been sold.
Healing the Landscape retails for $39.95 plus GST, and can be purchased at Tom Davies Square, Chapters, Black Cat Too!, Muirheads, Plaza 69 Pharmacy, Laurentian University bookstore, and the Cambrian College bookstore.
